Jar Jar Binks has gone far since his debut in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. Although the character has faced backlash, he has somehow been redeemed through the years as fans reconsidered their opinion on Jar Jar. But is it possible that we could explore the Gungan's story even further? Ahmed Best has just admitted that he wants to revisit the character he originated in the Star Wars prequel films.
Ahmed Best might be best known for playing Jar Jar Binks but he has since reestablished himself in the Star Wars Universe. Best made an appearance in the third season of The Mandalorian as the Jedi Master Kelleran Beq who played an important role in Grogu's past. The cameo had fans celebrating Best's return to the Star Wars Universe.
But now that he's back, is it possible that Best will reprise his role as Jar Jar in a new Star Wars project? The Attack of the Clones star told The Guardian that he is open to playing the Gungan all over again.

"I would never say never. I don’t feel like Jar Jar’s story was ever closed," Best said. However, he also pointed out that he would prefer "to explore more Kelleran Beq." Best then admitted he has some ideas on what Lucasfilm should do next.
"I’d love to do a Star Wars martial arts show – like a Jedi John Wick," he said.
It's great to know that Ahmed Best still loves playing Jar Jar Binks although the backlash to the character made him consider suicide. Luckily for us, Best made it past the negative reactions and came out stronger in the end. With that in mind, we can't wait to see more of him in future Star Wars projects.
It has not yet been confirmed whether Kelleran Beq's story will be explored in the future. Likewise, it's still unclear whether Jar Jar Binks is set for a major comeback but we'll keep you posted. Make sure to check this page for the latest news.
