Squid Game: The Challenge has officially begun. Netflix has finally released its biggest reality TV game show based on its worldwide hit series, Squid Game. While fans wait for the second season, they will be treated to real-life games they first saw in the 2021 survival show. As the game begins, dropping its first five episodes, here’s when the new episodes will be released.
Netflix dropped the first five episodes of Squid Game: The Challenge on Wednesday, November 22. Like the show on which it’s based, it started with 456 players, which eventually decreased as every new game ended. So far, there are only 70 players left, while the cash prize is now up to $3.860 million.
When will the new episodes of Squid Game: The Challenge be released?
Instead of a new episode every week, Netflix opts to release new episodes of Squid Game: The Challenge in batches. However, after dropping the first five episodes, the next half will be divided into three and two, so the show will run for a total of three weeks.
The next three episodes, Episodes 6-8, will be released on November 29, while the last two episodes, Episodes 9-10, will be out on December 6. It will drop at 12 AM PT/3 AM ET as usual. For other release times based on your region, you can check the list below:

The contestants enjoyed a picnic, a rare occurrence in the Squid Game world, but something was behind this fun event. Everyone started to realize that the basket contained small bags with marbles inside, hinting at the next game they were about to take. Does it ring a bell?
The players will next play the game of marbles, where they have to defeat and say goodbye to their partners. This only means that the fan-favorite pairs, like the mother-and-son duo, must compete with each other as only one of them must win and stay.
