Following the premiere the fourth episode of Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise From the Shadow- (Episode 16 overall) in Japan today, a new Pick Up Battle video has been released on Aniplex's official YouTube channel. The video features the appearance of the S-Rank hunters Cha Hae-in and Choi Jong-in as they clear a dungeon with ease and emerge out of the portal. Fans have been anticipating to see Cha Hae-in meet protagonist Sung Jin-woo, and the moment is finally happening in the anime adaptation
In the original Japanese version, Cha Hae-in is voiced by Reina Ueda, while Choi Jong-in is voiced by Daisuke Hirakawa. In the English dub, Michelle Rojas is voicing Cha Hae-in. Solo Leveling Season 1 premiered in Japan on January 6, 2024. Studio A-1 Pictures, which produced the first season, returned to produce the animation of the Season 2, with Shunsuke Nakashige as director, and Noboru Kimura as series composer. Tomoko Sudo is in charge of the character designs while Hiroyuki Sawano in composing the sequel's music.
What is Solo Leveling Season 2 about?
Solo Leveling is based on the South Korean portal fantasy web novel series written by Chugong and illustrated by DUBU, which launched on Webtoon services in March 2018 and ended in December 2021. The manhwa and original novel series is being published by Yen Press in English, and the Japanese version is published by Kadokawa under the title Ore Dake Level-Up na Ken (I'm the Only One Who Has Leveled Up).
