Update: Solo Leveling Season 2 finale is now streaming on Crunchyroll!
Following the tense fight between Sung Jin-woo and Beru in Episode 12, Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise From the Shadow- will wrap up the season this Saturday with the release of Episode 13. The mission in Jeju Island is complete as JIn-woo was able to defeat the powerful Beru, the Ant King, but the S-Rank protagonist still needs to figure out a way to save the critically-injured Cha Hae-in.
On Tuesday, the official webiste of Solo Leveling has released one preview image and synopsis for the season finale episode, titled On to the Next Target, which is scheduled to premiere on Crunchyroll this Saturday, March 29. Unlike the previews for the previous episodes, the staff decided to share just one image, and it shows Sung Jin-woo looking calm as he looks at the horizon, perhaps contemplating about his next journey.

The official synopsis for Solo Leveling Season 2 Episode 13 reveals that Jin-woo has an idea to save Cha Hae-in from her critical injuries inflicted by Beru. The first season of Solo Leveling premiered in Japan on January 6, 2024, and Crunchyroll started streaming the English dub version of the anime on January 20. Studio A-1 Pictures, which produced the first season, returned to produce the animation of the second season, with Shunsuke Nakashige as director, and Noboru Kimura as series composer. Tomoko Sudo is in charge of the character designs while Hiroyuki Sawano in composing the sequel's music.
What is Solo Leveling Season 2 about?
Solo Leveling is based on the South Korean portal fantasy web novel series written by Chugong and illustrated by DUBU, which launched on Webtoon services in March 2018 and ended in December 2021. The manhwa and original novel series is being published by Yen Press in English, and the Japanese version is published by Kadokawa under the title Ore Dake Level-Up na Ken (I'm the Only One Who Has Leveled Up).

I t's been over ten years since gates that lead to another dimension have begun appearing across the world. The battles between the magic beasts inhabiting the dungeons through the gates and the human hunters who have awakened the abilities to fight them show no signs of ending. Ordinarily, a hunter's abilities do not change upon awakening, with their rank never increasing. However, the low-ranked Sung Jin-woo, known as 'The Weakest Hunter of All Mankind,' gained the ability to level up through battle during a raid on a double dungeon. Having completed a job-change quest that earned him the job 'Shadow Monarch' and command over an army of shadows, Jin-woo heads into battle seeking the ingredients for the Elixir of Life to save his sick mother.
