Weeks before Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow- premieres in January 2025, fans will be able to catch an early viewing of the upcoming season's first two episodes. The omnibus anime film Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- , which recaps Season 1 of the hit TV anime series and shares a special preview for first two episodes of the second season, will be released this December. Now, Crunchyroll has released an English subbed trailer that shows protagonist Sung Jinwoo back in action.
In addition to the English subbed trailer, Sony Pictures UK announced on X that Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- will be released in the UK theaters on December 6, 2024, the same date as its North American premiere.
Solo Leveling Season 1 premiered in Japan on January 6, 2024, and Crunchyroll started broadcasting the English dub version of the anime on January 20. Studio A-1 Pictures, which produced the first season, will return to animate Season 2, with Shunsuke Nakashige as director, and Noboru Kimura as series composer. Tomoko Sudo is in charge of the character designs while Hiroyuki Sawano in composing the sequel's music.

What is Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- about?
Solo Leveling is based on the South Korean portal fantasy web novel series written by Chugong and illustrated by DUBU, which launched on Webtoon services in March 2018 and ended in December 2021. The manhwa and original novel series is being published by Yen Press in English, and the Japanese version is published by Kadokawa under the title Ore Dake Level-Up na Ken (I'm the Only One Who Has Leveled Up).

Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- features a catch-up recap of the first season coupled with an exclusive sneak peek of the first two episodes of the highly anticipated second season in one momentous theatrical fan experience. Over a decade has passed since a pathway called a "gate" which connects this world and another dimension suddenly appeared, and people with superhuman powers called "hunters" have been awakened. Hunters use their superhuman powers to conquer dungeons inside the gates to make a living, and Sung Jinwoo, a hunter of the lowest rank, is considered the Weakest Hunter of All Mankind. One day, he encounters a double dungeon, a high-level dungeon hidden inside a low-level one. In front of a severely wounded Jinwoo, a mysterious quest window pops up. On the verge of death, Jinwoo decides to take on the quest, which makes him the only person who can level up.
