Sung Jinwoo's hunt is about to reach two more platforms. Netmarble has announced that its action RPG Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on November 3, going live at 4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET.

The console release follows the game's earlier arrival on PC through Steam and the Microsoft Store. Developed by Netmarble Neo and published by Netmarble, the game is priced at $39.99 and sold as a premium package rather than a gacha title, which sets it apart from the mobile Solo Leveling: ARISE.

The premium structure is the point of this version. Where the mobile game is built around draws and live-service rhythms, ARISE OVERDRIVE is a single purchase built as a complete action RPG, and the console launch extends that offer to players who never touched either earlier version.

The story follows Sung Jinwoo on his journey to become the world's strongest hunter. Players work through the original story from the webtoon alongside new adventures written exclusively for the game, so longtime readers and first-time hunters both have something waiting for them.

Four-Player Co-Op Raids Pit Hunters Against The Commanders

The console version keeps the mode built for groups: four-player cooperative raids against mighty Commanders. Players can choose between fighting as Jinwoo himself or taking a party of other hunters into the raid instead.

That choice changes how a raid plays out from the first swing. Jinwoo carries the Monarch's power and the game's deepest build options, while a hunter party spreads the roles across the group, giving co-op teams more than one way to bring a Commander down.

Combat is built around reading each monster and reacting in the moment. Extreme Evasion lets players dodge incoming attacks, while a perfectly timed parry opens the door to a powerful counterattack.

The system rewards aggression timed well rather than button-mashing. Dynamic combat evolves with weapon and skill-combo choices, so the same hunter can feel different from one build to the next.

Jinwoo's growth runs through a skill tree that branches into eight different job advancements. Weapon and skill-combo choices reshape how he fights as the build comes together, so two players' Jinwoos do not have to play alike.

His ceiling sits higher still with Monarch's Awakening, which lets Jinwoo transform into the Ultimate Monarch of Shadows, succeeding Ashborn. A weapon-crafting system built from items dropped by monsters rounds out the progression, including weapons from the webtoon such as Kasaka's Venom Fang and the Demon King's Daggers.

For console players who skipped the PC release, November 3 is the entry point into the version of the hunt built around a full party. Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE is available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series from that date, and remains available on PC through Steam and the Microsoft Store.
