AMC+ has released a forty-five-second teaser trailer for the fourth and final season of Snowpiercer. Based on the 1982 French graphic novel Le Transperceneige by Jacques Lob and the 2013 film of the same title directed by Bong Joon-ho, the post-apocalyptic dystopian TV series was originally a TNT program before being canceled due to Warner Bros. Discovery's aggressive cost-cutting policies. It was then picked up by AMC, which will also stream the first three seasons of Snowpiercer on AMC+ this June, with the first two seasons releasing on June 1, and Season 3 arriving on June 8. The series, which stars Daveed Diggs, Jennifer Connelly, and Sean Bean, is set to release its fourth season on July 21, exclusively on AMC and AMC+.

Snowpiercer is set seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, and it centers on the remaining people, who inhabit a massive, perpetually-moving train that travels across the globe. The teaser shows a mysterious threat in the extremely cold, uninhabitable region, teasing that there will be more focus on the conflicts outside of the Snowpiercer train. Ben Davis, executive vice president of original programming for AMC Studios and AMC Networks, shared a statement to Variety:

Snowpiercer  is an edge-of-your-seat thrill ride with a loyal fanbase – similar to the passionate fandoms we serve across our biggest franchise series – and a welcome addition to AMC and AMC+. We look forward to giving viewers an opportunity to binge the first three seasons later this year, in anticipation of the arrival of a remarkable fourth season helmed by Paul Zbyszewski and this stellar cast, which will premiere in 2025.

Showrunner Paul Zbyszewski added: "We're so thrilled the train has finally found a home, and we're incredibly grateful to everyone at AMC and Tomorrow Studios for giving the fans of Snowpiercer a chance to enjoy season four with all the hard work this amazing cast and crew put into it."

The series also stars Rowan Blanchard, Alison Wright, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGuinness, Lena Hall, Sam Otto, Roberto Urbina, Chelsea Harris, Mickey Sumner, Mike O’Malley, and Sheila Vand. The fourth season will also introduce The Americans’ Michael Aronov and Marvel vet Clark Gregg.
