In just a few days, Netflix's hit South Korean reality dating series Single's Inferno will return for its fourth season. Now, Netflix has released the main trailer and poster that both reveal the show's new hot single contestants ahead of its January 14, 2025 release date, which is about a little more than a year since the Season 3 finale episode premiered. This show's return marks the first time a Netlfix original Korean series has been produced for a fourth season.
Netflix usually brings new twists in every season of Single's Inferno to get viewers more interested, and according to the streamer, Season 4 "promises a deeper emotional journey with more intense and honest interactions, delivering high-stakes romance at its finest." Just like the third season, the hosts of Season 4 will include Hong Jin-kyung, Lee Da-hee, KYUHYUN, HANHAE, and Dex (Season 2 contestant). The new trailer gives viewers a first look at the single contestants while teasing the reactions of the emcees as the singles mingle and engage in romantic and intimate moments.

In a press release, Single's Inferno producers Kim Jae-won, Kim Jung-hyun, and Park Suji said that “the core of Single’s Inferno’s success is the captivating cast” and that “Season 4 will be the hottest season yet.” The show's producers went on to say that “in Season 4, you will get to see conflicts you can only find in real-life relationships" while encouraging fans to show their continued interest and support.
What is Single's Inferno about?
If you're wondering what this South Korean reality series is about, Single's Inferno is a reality dating show that features a group of single men and women stranded on a deserted island (Inferno) together. The contestants are only given a few resources, and the only way they can escape the island to spend a night at a luxury hotel (Paradise) is if they romantically match for date nights. They're only allowed to reveal their age and profession in the hotel, and they participate in various physical games to win a chance to choose who they spend a night in "Paradise" with.
It's not surprising to see Netflix announce the release date for Single's Inferno Season 4. The reality show has been one of the most-watched reality shows on the platform. The third season of Single's Inferno dominated Netflix's Top 10 global charts for non-English TV series when it premiered in early December 2023. For the week of December 25 to 31, the show placed 7th in the streamer's global Top 10 for TV Series (Non-English).
The first two seasons of Single's Inferno also dominated the streamer's global charts, proving that there's clearly a big global audience for this kind of show. Other reality Korean series like Physical 100, The Devil's Plan, and Culinary Class Wars were also renewed by Netflix, so we can expect to continue to see Single's Inferno and the aforementioned reality shows dominate the streamer's global charts with their upcoming seasons.
