The first teaser trailer for the upcoming TV anime adaptation based on the Secrets of the Silent Witch light novel series has been released, confirming its 2025 premiere in Japan. The staff of the anime also unveiled a teaser visual and cast information. The video teases the upcoming anime's fantasy visuals while introducing the "Silent Witch", Monica Everett:
Hitomi Nabatame and Junichi Suwabe will voice the lead characters Nero (shown on the left below) and Lewis Miller (shown on the right), respectively. Saya Aizawa will voice Monica Everett (shown at center).

What is Secrets of the Silent Witch about?
The Secrets of the Silent Witch anime is based on the Sword and Sorcery Fantasy light novels of the same title (Japanese: Sairento Uitchi: Chinmoku no Majo no Kakushigoto) written by Matsuri Isora and illustrated by Nanna Fujimi. The series debuted on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let's Become Novelists) website in February 2020 before Kadokawa began publishing the light novels in June 2021. The eighth volume was released on August 9, 2024.
Tobi Tana's manga adaptation of Secrets of the Silent Witch launched in Kadokawa's B's-LOG COMIC in July 2021, and its fourth volume was released in Japan on May 31, 2024. Yen Press, the English publisher of the light novel series, shared a description for Secrets of the Silent Witch:
Monica Everett, the Silent Witch, is the only mage in the world who can use unchanted magecraft, a true hero who singlehandedly defeated a legendary black dragon. However, this young genius is actually…super-duper shy! That’s right: She learned to cast spells silently just to avoid speaking in public, and despite her power, she has zero self-confidence.
