Riverdale Season 7 is all the rave today after the series has officially ended following its six years on the air. Thankfully, for fans who haven’t seen the show or want to rewatch the series, Netflix will release its entire 20 episodes in one go, and here is when you can watch it according to your region.
The series is based on the characters of the classic Archie Comics. It was adapted for The CW by the comics’ chief creative officer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and produced by Warner Bros. Television and CBS Studios. Netflix then acquired its exclusive international broadcast rights.
Fans who have watched Riverdale Season 7 on The CW have probably seen its series finale, which was released on August 23. But there are some who are impatient to wait for its weekly releases and are now waiting for it on Netflix.
Riverdale started airing in January 2017 and has become one of the biggest shows on The CW. Its first season premiered on March 29. And now that it has come to a close, the network’s chairman and CEO Mark Pedowitz said at The CW’s Pre-Upfronts call that “it goes out the right way.”
What is Riverdale Season 7 about?
Riverdale Season 7 travels back in time to the 1950s. It picks up where the previous season left off after Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch) stopped the comet that was meant to hit the city of Riverdale. But her power changed reality and brought them to a different era, and Jughead (Cole Sprouse) was the only one who knew what happened.
However, just like in Archie Comics, Jughead’s friends have no idea what transpired and are living their best lives in the 1950s—not knowing they’re from the future. You can read the final season’s synopsis below:
