Earlier this month, TV anime adaptation of Tappei Nagatsuki's Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- light novel series made its big return with the premiere of its 90-minute episode, and with two episodes already out, fans are getting ready to see what's next for Natsuki Subaru and his companions' dark fantasy adventure. Today, the official website of the anime has shared a teaser trailer and preview stills for Re:Zero Season 3 Episode 3, which is titled Gorgeous Tiger, and it's expected to focus on the aftermath of Emilia’s battle with Sirius Romanée-Conti.
Emilia's determination to aid Subaru in battle may further complicate the group's efforts to deal with the remaining threats in Pristella. The synopsis teased the potential resurgence of the Witch Cult’s influence, and the heinous act of Lye Batenkaitos, the Witch Cult's Archbishop for the Sin of Gluttony. Emilia was saved from the flames unleashed by Sirius by Regulus Corneas, the Witch Cult's Archbishop for the Sin of Greed. Regulus holds the unconscious Emilia in his arms and tells her that she is his bride. In order to burn Emilia to ashes, Sirius once again showers a waterfall of flames on both him and Regulus. Meanwhile, as Otto heads to Muse Trading Company, a security guard is crushed in front of him by someone. The heinous act was the work of Lye Batenkaitos, the Witch Cult's Archbishop for the Sin of Gluttony.

Takashi Nagayoshi is directing Re:Zero Season 3 Episode 3, with a script written by Masahiro Yokotani. Studio White Fox animated the first two seasons of Re:Zero, which premiered in 2016 and 2020, respectively, with Season 2 having a split-cour format (the second cour premiered in July 2021). The opening theme song is titled Reweave, performed by Konomi Suzuki; the ending theme song NUX LOX, is performed by MYTH & ROID ED.
Where to Watch Re:Zero Season 3 Episode 3
New episodes of Re:Zero Season 3 will air every Wednesday from October 2, 2024, and they will be available to stream on Crunchyroll as they air in Japan. Re:Zero Season 3 Episode 3 is scheduled to premiere on October 16, 2024 at 7:30 AM Pacific/10:30 AM Eastern (3:30 PM BST in the UK). The third season has a total of 16 episodes split into two cours, so we can expect six more new episodes this Fall 2024 anime season, while the remaining eight episodes are expected to release in the Winter 2025 anime season.

What is Re:Zero Season 3 about?
Re:Zero-Starting Life in Another World- (Japanese: Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu) anime is based on the KADOKAWA-published light novels written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Ootsuka. The third season will consist of 16 episodes, adapting the Attack arc and Coutnerattack arc with 8 episodes each. The Counterattack arc is set to premiere on February 5, 2025.
The official plot synopsis for Re:Zero Season 3 reads:
A year has passed since the liberation of “The sanctuary”, where Subaru Natsuki defeated Elsa and fulfilled his contract with Beatrice in the battle against the Great Rabbits. Emilia camp was united as they faced the royal election, and Subaru Natsuki was living a fulfilling life, but the peace and quiet came to an end with a single letter delivered by a messenger. The letter was from Anastasia, one of the candidates for the royal selection, to invite Emilia to the Watergate City of Priestella, one of the five largest cities in Lugunica. Accepting the invitation, Subaru and his party set off for Priestella, where a variety of reunions awaited them. One unexpected, one unintended, and one to come. The stirrings of malice writhing beneath the surface of the water and an unprecedented crisis loom over them. Once again, the boy faces a cruel fate.
