The second cour of Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- Season 3 kicked off last week with the release of Episode 9, titled City Scramble, which featured Subaru putting his plan to stop Regulus into action while the others deal with the other Archbishops. The new season is adapting the Counterattack Arc of Tappei Nagatsuki's isekai light novel series. The first part of Season 3, which covered the Attack Arc ran for 8 episodes and concluded on November 20. Now, we can expect the epic battle to continue in Episode 10.
The official website of Re:Zero also revealed preview stills and an official synopsis for Season 3 Episode 10, which is the second episode of the second part, is titled The Battle to Conquer Greed, and it's expected to intensify the battle against the Archbishops. Regulus, the Sin Archbishop of Greed, will continue to fight Reinhard. Meanwhile, Subaru and Emilia will try to figure out the secret behind Regulus' "invincibility". Capella, the Sin Archbishop of Lust, appears at the city hall where Anastasia and the others are. Ferris, desperate to find a way to cure Crusch, who suffers from the effects of dragon blood, asks for a solution. However, Capella refuses to respond properly and ends up capturing Ferris. Meanwhile, in the Third District, the battle between Reinhard and Regulus—the Strongest vs. the Invincible—intensifies. Subaru and Emilia attempt various strategies to uncover the secret behind Regulus’ “invincibility,” which allows him to withstand any attack without injury.

Studio White Fox is back to produce the animation for the second half of Re:Zero Season 3. Masahiro Shinohara is directing the new season, with Masahiro Yokotani as the series composer, Haruka Sagawa as the chief animation director/character designer, and Kenichiro Suehiro as the music composer.
Where to Watch Re:Zero Season 3 Episode 10
New episodes of Re:Zero Season 3 will air every Wednesday from the first week of February 2025 and they will be available to stream on Crunchyroll as they air in Japan. Re:Zero Season 3 Episode 10 is scheduled to release on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 7:30 AM Pacific/10:30 AM Eastern (3:30 PM BST in the UK). Season 3 has a total of 16 episodes split into two cours, so we can expect seven more new episodes this year.
What is Re:Zero Season 3 about?
Re:Zero-Starting Life in Another World- (Japanese: Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu) anime is based on the KADOKAWA-published light novels written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Ootsuka. The third season will consist of 16 episodes, adapting the Attack arc and Coutnerattack arc with 8 episodes each.

A year has passed since the liberation of “The sanctuary”, where Subaru Natsuki defeated Elsa and fulfilled his contract with Beatrice in the battle against the Great Rabbits. Emilia camp was united as they faced the royal election, and Subaru Natsuki was living a fulfilling life, but the peace and quiet came to an end with a single letter delivered by a messenger. The letter was from Anastasia, one of the candidates for the royal selection, to invite Emilia to the Watergate City of Priestella, one of the five largest cities in Lugunica. Accepting the invitation, Subaru and his party set off for Priestella, where a variety of reunions awaited them. One unexpected, one unintended, and one to come. The stirrings of malice writhing beneath the surface of the water and an unprecedented crisis loom over them. Once again, the boy faces a cruel fate.
