The production team of Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon anime officially confirmed that the series is getting a second season. The announcement was made after the first season concluded its run with the release of Episode 12, titled What Can Be Done as a Vending Machine.

Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon was first announced in August 2022, with studios Gokumi and AXsiz in charge of its animation. Noriaki Akitaya directed the anime, with Takahiro Sakai serving as character designer and Tatsuya Takahashi on the show's composition.
Voice actor Jun Fukuyama, who's played roles in other popular anime titles like Assassination Classroom, Black Clover, and Code Geass, voiced the iconic vending machine protagonist, Boxxo, and Kaede Hondo voiced the main female lead, Lammis.

Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon anime is based on the Japanese light novel series written by Hirukuma and illustrated by Itsuwa Kato (original edition) and Yūki Hagure (revised edition). The author originally published the isekai series in 2016 as a web novel on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. it was acquired later on that same year and then published by Kadokawa Shoten. In August 2021, a manga adaptation by Kunieda started serialization.
