The official X account of the currently ongoing anime adaptation of Masamichi Sato's Quality Assurance in Another World (Kono Sekai wa Fukanzen Sugiru) manga series has announced that Yū Kobayashi is joining the Japanese voice cast as Gaydie. Kobayashi, who's known for playing Sasha Blouse in Attack on Titan among other roles, is playing a character who's described to be a large-build man with innocent personality. Gaydie wants to protect a village from giants, and he's expected to appear in Episode 9 of the anime this Friday.
Kobayashi is also known for playing Lucina in the Japanese version of the Fire Emblem series, Dan Kjuso in Bakugan Battle Brawlers, Aoba in Dan Doh!!, Kaede Kimura in Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei, Luka Urushibara in Steins;Gate, Setsuna Sakurazaki in Negima! Magister Negi Magi, and Charlotte Roselei in Black Clover.
100Studio and Studio Palette are in charge of the animation of Quality Assurance in Another World, with Kei Umabiki as director, Shogo Yasukawa as the series composer, and Shigeo Akahori as the character designer.

What is Quality Assurance in Another World about
Quality Assurance in Another World anime is based on the fantasy manga series of the same title (Japanese: この世界は不完全すぎる, Kono Sekai wa Fukanzen Sugiru) written by Masamichi Sato, and it debuted in Kodansha's Comic Days magazine in 2020, and as of today, 9 volumes have been published. Kodansha USA digitally licensed the series in 2021, before it was physically released in 2023.

Nikola is just a village girl working at the inn…until the day dragons invade, and she meets Haga, a scholar of everything around him. He’s a part of an elite society called “Seekers,” created to address a series of maladies plaguing their usually peaceful world. But both Nikola and Haga have secrets they hide…ones that will change each other’s very existence…
