A TV anime adaptation for Kogitsunemaru and Hitogome's Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time light novel series has been announced today with a January 2025 release window. The first teaser trailer and visual have been released for the isekai anime, teasing an overpowered protagonist who is granted the powerful "alchemy" skill. Studio Comet is producing the animation. Other voice cast confirmed are Ai Kayano as Sofia Sylphid, Nao Toyama as Maria, and Afumi Hashi as Kaede. As for the staff, Naoyuki Kuzuya (Bikini Warriors) is set to direct the anime adaptation of Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time while Mitsutaka Hirota (Rent-A-Girlfriend) will work as the series composer. Sayaka Anezaki is in charge of the character designs, and Hiroshi Nakamura (Sweet Reincarnation) is set to compose the music of the anime.

What is Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time about?
The Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time anime is based on the light novels of the same title (Japanese: いずれ最強の錬金術師?, Izure Saikyō no Renkinjutsu-shi?), written by Kogitsunemaru and illustrated by Hitogome, which started publication in 2018.
