Disney+ has released the official trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3, and it builds the entire season around a single desperate mission. Annabeth has been captured by the forces of Kronos, and Percy has to race across the country to save her before Olympus falls.
The trailer comes from Disney+ as the fullest look yet at the new season. Season 3 adapts The Titan's Curse, the third book in Rick Riordan's bestselling series and the first one never to have been adapted for the screen before.
Footage opens with Percy and his friends trying to convince Thalia Grace, the daughter of Zeus, to help rescue young half-bloods who do not yet know who they are. The scale quickly grows from there, with the giant bronze Talos looming over the quest and a stop at the Hoover Dam among the locations book readers will recognize.

Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri return as Percy, Annabeth and Grover, with Charlie Bushnell back as Luke and Tamara Smart as Thalia. The trailer also gives the best look yet at the season's new arrivals, including Dafne Keen as Artemis, Ming-Na Wen as Hera and Kate McKinnon as Aphrodite.
Holt McCallany plays Atlas, the Titan holding the weight of the sky, while Olive Abercrombie and Levi Chrisopulo appear as Bianca and Nico di Angelo. The di Angelo twins play a major part in The Titan's Curse, and their arrival marks a turning point for the whole series.
Creators have billed the season as the darkest in the show so far, as the story begins the turn toward the conclusion of Riordan's five-book saga. The series was created by Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg, and Season 3 pushes Percy into a prophecy with dire consequences for everyone at Camp Half-Blood.

If Percy Jackson learned anything after completing two epic quests with Annabeth Chase, it's that he would be lost without her. So when Annabeth is captured by the forces of Kronos, Percy must embark on a perilous journey to rescue her. He must free a goddess in chains, confront the Titan's curse, and avoid triggering the fall of Olympus. With Grover by his side, Percy must join some unlikely questmates to confront a prophecy with dire consequences.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 premieres on November 20 on Disney+ and Hulu with two episodes, My Rescue Operation Goes Very Wrong and An Old Dead Friend Comes to Visit. Two new episodes will then arrive each week until the season ends.
