Today, Bandai Namco Filmworks has announced that Yū Shimizu and Makoto Aogiri's Otherworldly Munchkin: Let's Speedrun the Dungeon with Only 1 HP (Isekai Munchkin: HP 1 no Mama de Saikyō Saisoku Danjon Kōryaku) manga series is getting a TV anime adaptation. A teaser visual has been revealed for the upcoming comedy isekai anime along with the announcement of its production and its main staff.

Durandal is producing the animation of Otherworldly Munchkin: Let's Speedrun the Dungeon with Only 1 HP, with Mamoru Yokota (Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc animation supervisor) as director.

Yū Shimizu and Makoto Aogiri's Otherworldly Munchkin: Let's Speedrun the Dungeon with Only 1 HP manga was launched on Nico Nico Seiga and Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine's "Suiyōbi no Sirius" website in February 2019 and has been collected in ten tankōbon volumes. The eleventh volume is scheduled to be published in Japan this Friday, November 8, 2024.
