Following the premiere of the Oshi no Ko Season 2 season finale in Japan, the staff of the supernatural mystery anime announced that the series has been renewed for a third season. Additionally, it was announced that Hina Kino and Mamoru Miyano are joining the cast as Tsukuyomi and Hikaru Kamiki, respectively. An announcement video and teaser visual were released along with the announcement, but a release date has yet to be revealed. Watch the teaser video for Oshi no Ko Season 3 below:

Studio Doga Kobo produced the animation of the first two seasons of Oshi no Ko. Daisuke Hiramaki directed the series, with Jin Tanaka in charge of the series composition. Kanna Hirayama worked on the character designs, and Takuro Iga composed the music. The main Japanese voice cast of Oshi no Ko Season 2 that we're expecting to return in Season 3 includes:

  • Rie Takahashi as Ai Hoshino

  • Takeo Otsuka as Aquamarine Hoshino

  • Yurie Igoma as Ruby Hoshino

  • Megumi Han as Kana Arima

  • Rumi Okubo as Mem-cho

Where to watch Oshi no Ko Season 2

Just like the first season, Oshi no Ko Season 2 is currently available to stream on HIDIVE, and all episodes are now available to stream on the platform. The latest season aired on TOKYO MX, KBS Kyoto, TV Hokkaido, AT-X, BS11 TV Aichi and other networks across Japan. A total of 13 episodes were released across six Blu-ray and DVD launches in Japan.

What is Oshi no Ko Season 2 about?

Oshi no Ko anime is based on the manga series of the same title written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari (Scum's Wish). The series has been serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump while Manga Plus digitally publishes the official English version of the manga. Yen Press publishes the English physical editions of the manga.

Aqua's desire for revenge takes center stage as he navigates the dark underbelly of the entertainment world alongside his twin sister, Ruby. While Ruby follows in their slain mother's footsteps to become an idol, Aqua joins a famous theater troupe in hopes of uncovering clues to the identity of his father—the man who arranged their mother's untimely death, and the man who once starred in the same troupe Aqua hopes to infiltrate.
