2 episodes to go for Oshi no Ko Season 2, and the twelfth episode will reveal more of Aqua's past life.

The the official website of Oshi no Ko has revealed a teaser video, preview stills, and official synopsis for Oshi no Ko Season 2 Episode 12 (Episode 23 overall), which is titled Reunion, and it's expected to adapt the events of Chapters #74, #75, and more of the best-selling manga series. The episode is expected to see Aqua visiting the site of his previous death as the trip to Miyazaki happens.

Meanwhile, the production side of the PV project is going well, with B-Komachi even recruiting brilliant influencer talent to become part of the video production. However, Aqua has a different experience arriving here, where he previously worked as a doctor and had Ai as his patient. This is where the site of his previous death at the hands of the mysterious assailant. The episode is expected to show more of Gorou Amamiya's tragic history, so we'll likely see the most painful memories of Aqua's past life resurface as the episode reveals how helpless he felt even as a doctor.

Aqua visits Miyazaki for the first time in over a decade, the place where Gorou and Sarina once lived and where Aqua and Ruby were born, and follows Gorou's tracks. Meanwhile, Ruby keeps her feelings for Gorou hidden in her heart...

Studio Doga Kobo returned to animate Oshi no Ko Season 2, and the official website revealed that the main staff of Episode 12 includes Tanaki Jin on screenplay, Nishina Kuniyasu on live part storyboard and direction; and Nekotomi Chao and Nishina Kuniyasu on color script. Haruka Inate and Ayaka Muroga are the Chief Animation Directors; Satomi Watanabe is the Assistant Chief Animation Director, while Hirayama Hirona is in charge of the character drawing supervision. The animation directors are Yukiko Kawamoto,Tamami Izawa, Junichi Higuchi, Supervisor Kevin Yuta, Shun Sawai, Ayayo Kuno, Junichiro Taniguchi, Atsushi Soga, Etsuko Yamamoto, Mizuno Kimiaki.

Where to watch Oshi no Ko Season 2 Episode 12

Just like the first season, Oshi no Ko Season 2 is currently available to stream on HIDIVE, and the twelfth episode was released on Wednesday, September 25, at 11:00 pm JST, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time (EDT), 10:00 a.m. Central Time (CDT), and 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PDT).on TOKYO MX, KBS Kyoto, TV Hokkaido, AT-X, BS11 TV Aichi and other networks across Japan. According to the home media release listing for the new season, there will be a total of 13 episodes released across six Blu-ray and DVD launches in Japan, and with eleven twelve already out, that means we can expect one last episode to arrive in this Summer 2024 anime season.

Update: On September 25, following the premiere of Episode 12, it was announced that the season finale (Episode 13) is set to premiere on Sunday, October 6.

What is Oshi no Ko Season 2 about?

Oshi no Ko anime is based on the manga series of the same title written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari (Scum's Wish). The series has been serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump while Manga Plus digitally publishes the official English version of the manga. Yen Press publishes the English physical editions of the manga.
