Fans will soon see the end of Luffy and Kaido’s fight in One Piece anime after the Straw Hat captain has finally unveiled his Gear 5 transformation. And to tease the viewers of what’s to come, the series has dropped a special video to tease the climax of the two’s epic battle in the upcoming One Piece Episode 1075.
Based on the manga written by Eiichiro Oda, One Piece has been one of the longest-running anime series today, with over 1,000 episodes in tow. It also sees a live-action adaptation on Netflix that was recently released on August 31. But if there’s one thing fans have been waiting to see, it’s the end of Luffy and Kaido’s fight.
The special video in question sees Kaido in his full Beast Form, a combination of a full serpentine Azure Dragon and a human-dragon hybrid that gives him an incredible increase in speed, agility, mobility, and physical strength. But, of course, Luffy’s power is unmatched. With his Gear 5, he can be seen bouncing off and laughing at Kaido’s massive attack while throwing his full-powered strike.

Just like what the anime did when it promoted the fight between Sanji vs. Queen and Zoro vs. King, this special video is being played throughout the metro stations in Japan, like the JR East metropolitan area, JR West stations, JR Shikoku, JR Sapporo Station, and JR Kyushu, among others. It started showing on September 4 and will end on September 10, when One Piece Episode 1075 finally airs.
What will happen in One Piece Episode 1075?
The upcoming One Piece Episode 1075 may finally see the conclusion of Luffy and Kaido’s fight. Titled 20 Years’ Worth of Prayers! Take Back the Land of Wano, the prayers of the people of Wano Country may finally be heard after 20 years, and they all put their trust in Luffy.
The preview reveals how Orochi’s reign has snatched every one of their everyday lives and loved ones. They aren’t even allowed to mourn, and their hearts are clamoring to be free. “Absorbing people’s wishes, Gear 5 radiated,” it continues.
The trailer then sees a glimpse of Kaido and Luffy as they are about to continue their fight while people are seen praying in the background. You can check the preview below:
One Piece Episode 1075 will be released on Sunday, September 10 on Crunchyroll. With this new special video and the preview, all hopes are now on Luffy to finally defeat Kaido and free the Land of Wano.
