Another month is about to begin, and that only means there will be a bunch of new movies and TV series coming to Netflix this February 2024. The second month of the year proves to be big with the much-awaited release of the live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender, which may attest that the streamer has truly lifted the curse from its live-action anime shows if it becomes a success.

Of course, this is just one of the several more titles that fans should watch out for on Netflix in February 2024. So, read on to know more.

The service has already featured a number of animated series, and a new one is coming in Orion and the Dark. Written by Charlie Kaufman, known for his work on the 2004 film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, it tells the story of a young boy named Orion. Though he looks every inch average, the kid is completely consumed by fears, which he bravely fights off every night called the “Dark.”

Of course, this list won’t be complete without Avatar: The Last Airbender. This live-action adaptation of the classic Nickelodeon series will see Aang back on the small screen as he musters all four elements to face the terrifying Fire Nation and save the world. Though fans already have an idea of what may happen here, Netflix’s take on this series is definitely a must-see.

Tyler Perry is back with more original content on Netflix, and this time, it will feature a different Kelly Rowland, who also works as the film’s producer. Titled Mea Culpa, the law thriller will see Rowland as Mea Harper, a criminal defense attorney who will take on the case of a seductive artist, Zyair Malloy (Trevante Rhodes), and may fall victim to the murder suspect.

And to make Valentine’s Day extra special, Netflix will also release its TV adaptation of the best-selling novel One Day by David Nicholls. After being seen on the big screen in 2011 with Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess in the lead, it’s now being reimagined as a 14-episode series with Ambika Mod as Emma and Leo Woodall as Dexter in a decades-spanning love story.

In addition, fans are about to see the cat-and-mouse chase between Choi Woo-shik and Son Suk-ku in the new K-drama, A Killer Paradox. Based on the webtoon by Kkomabi, Woo-Shik will play the role of Lee Tang, an ordinary college student whose life is about to change after killing a serial murderer and turning into a vigilante who identifies bad people who need to be killed while being pursued by Detective Jang Nan-gam (Suk-ku).
