The anime adaptation of Shinogi Kazanami's fantasy light novel series, The New Gate, is almost here, and it looks like the series is one of the many exciting isekai shows to watch this Spring 2024 anime season. The official website of the anime has revealed preview stills and an official synopsis for The New Gate Episode 1, which is scheduled to premiere on Saturday, April 13. The official title of The New Gate Episode 1 is The Third Truth. Studios CLOUDHEARTS and Yokohama Animation Lab are in charge of the animation. The isekai anime is being directed by Tamaki Nakatsu, who was previously worked on an episode of The Irregular at Magic High School. According to the English translation, here's the official synopsis for the first episode of the anime:

He changed his appearance and trapped people in the game world, tormenting them. In order to break out of this situation, Shin confronts and defeats his last and strongest enemy, Origin. Succeed in freeing the captives. Like other players, Shin tries to say goodbye to the familiar world, but a new door suddenly opens and he is transported 500 years into the world of "THE NEW GATE". In search of a way to return to the real world, Shin arrives at his former home, the Moon Shrine, where he meets Tiera Lucent, an elf woman who was in charge of the store.

The New Gate anime is based on the original isekai fantasy light novel series written by Shinogi Kazanami, which was first published on December 27, 2013 by Alphapolis, and there are currently 21 volumes. The series also released a manga adaptation by Yoshiyuki Miwa, and as of November 2023, it has been collected into 13 volumes. was published by One Peace Books, which described the story of The New Gate:
