Netflix has released a new mid-season trailer for Sakamoto Days anime, and it previews the intense, action-packed fights we can expect in the remaining episodes of its first part, which was previously confirmed to have a total of 11 episodes, so there are six new episodes remaining for this cour as the first five have already been released on Netflix. The anime will run for two split cours, and Part 2 is scheduled to premiere in July 2025.
The description of the trailer teased: "As new enemies emerge the stakes for Taro and his crew have never been higher." The mid-season trailer also features the members of the ORDER, an official assassin organization based in Japan. Sakamoto Days anime premiered last month on Netlfix. The main staff includes Masaki Watanabe (Bartender) as the director, Taku Kishimoto (BLUE LOCK) as the series composer, and Yo Moriyama (MEGALOBOX director) as the character designer. TMS Entertainment, the same animation studio behind Dr. Stone anime, is in charge of the animation of Sakamoto Days.

What is Sakamoto Days about?
Sakamoto Days is based on the action comedy manga series by Yuto Suzuki. The series has been serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since November 2020, and as of January 2025, 20 tankōbon volumes have been published.
