Netflix’s The Devil’s Plan features plenty of mind games as a group of some popular Korean academics, celebrities, and GO Players attempt to solve a series of challenges. It’s a competition series in which the contestants are required to follow instructions regarding the challenges. The Devil’s Plan Contestants Must Fight To Stay In The Game
The first rule of The Devil’s Plan is that every contestant must collect a bunch of unique golden “pieces” to stay a part of the game. They serve as currency to purchase advantages during the games, including bribes against other contestants to get the upper hand.
Once The Devil’s Plan ends, the two contestants who collected the most pieces will be sent to the finale. The last contestant who possesses the highest number of pieces will be declared as the game’s winner. However, there’s a catch when it comes to eliminations, which is that a contestant is automatically eliminated if they are found without a piece at any point in the match.
There’s a lot of critical thinking that goes into this game, as the contestants will have to commence with caution and excellent planning. Their chances of being eliminated could increase if they end up spending their pieces on bribes or to buy an advantage.
The Devil’s Plan Can Sideline Two Contestants After The Main Match
The learning contestants in The Devil’s Plan can easily get in trouble if they don’t participate in the main match and continue collecting pieces to help them move forward. Games usually have a ton of twists, and when it comes to The Devil’s Plan, the rules say that the contestants are required to participate in two matches a day for a whole week.
All contestants should be present in the main match, and the two contestants with the least pieces by the end will be “imprisoned” for a night. If more than two players have very few pieces, the person holding the most pieces gets to decide which two contestants will be jailed.
The main match’s goal is to eliminate weak links and either gain or lose pieces. When it comes to the prize match, all of the contestants should work together to overcome the same challenge. The grand prize works in such a way that The Devil’s Plan kicks off with a zero-winning balance, and these numbers will rise depending on the results of the prize match.
At the end of six matches, the winner can win up to a total of 500,000,000 won, which is around $375,312.62. The host explains, “Within these walls, only results matter. With the exception of violence or theft, any course of action can be taken to win.” To this, we say may the best man win!
