Netflix Reveals Frieren: Beyond Journey's End US Release Date

Netflix has announced that the hit fantasy anime series Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is set to release in the United States. on March 1, 2025. The first season ran from September 2023 to March 2024, and it consisted of 28 episodes. Madhouse produced the animation, and will return for the second season, which was announced last September but currently doesn't have a release date yet. The series was made available to stream on Netflix in regions outside of the U.S.. Crunchyroll streamed the first season in North America and other regions.

Season 1 of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End was directed by Keiichiro Saito (Bocchi The Rock!). Tomohiro Suzuki (One-Punch Man) wrote the script of the series while Reiko Nagasawa (takt op.Destiny) designed the characters, and Evan Call (Violet Evergarden) was in charge of the anime's music.

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is based on the award-winning manga written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe.
