The anime adaptation of NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dousei Hajimemashita web manga series has been announced with a spectacular teaser trailer and visual. Studio Quad (Our Rainy Protocol, My Life as Inukai-san's Dog) is in charge of the animation, with Hisashi Saito (The Testament of Sister New Devil) as the director. Other main staff includes Takashi Aoshima as the series composer, Masahiko Suzuki as the character designer, and CMJK as the music composer. The main Japanese voice cast includes Hinaki Yano as the main heroine Shizuri Ideura, and Shoya Ishige will play the protagonist, Tsukasa Atsumi. The anime will be narrated by Shigeru Chiba.

What is NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dousei Hajimemashita about?
The anime is based on the NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dousei Hajimemashita web manga series storyboarded by Yakitomato and illustrated by Kotatsu. The series began serialization on Niconico Douga and Kotasu's Twitter account in 2020. KADOKAWA later acquired the series, and published it under its Dengeki Comics EX label. As of March 10, 2023, ten volumes have been released.
The romantic comedy series follows the story of Tsukasa Atsuma, a normal salaryman who's attacked by a Youma and is saved by the appearance of the genius kunoichi, Shizuri. However, when she's not working, she becomes an otaku NEET. The story highlights how Tsukasa's househusband skills will continue to spoil Shizuri.
