VIZ Media and IDW Publishing are collaborating to launch a new limited four-issue comic series featuring Naruto and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchises. Written by Caleb Goellner (Sonic the Hedgehog) and illustrated by Hendry Prasetya (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), the four-issue crossover comic series is titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto. Raúl Angulo (NYX) is the colorist of the project, while Ed Dukeshire (The Woods) serves as the letterer.

What is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto about?
IDW Publishing provided an official synopsis for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto #1:
When teenage reporter April O’Neil has a clandestine meeting with Tsunade, the leader of the Hidden Leaf Village, it garners the attention of Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi. They aren’t the only ones who are wondering what the two women were discussing, though. The sinister Foot Clan have their own interest in April’s visit, as they think she might hold the valuable information on mutation research being conducted by the scientist Baxter Stockman. With April caught between the forces of the Hidden Leaf Village and the Foot Clan, it can’t be long before the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show up to lend her a hand!
Masashi Kishimoto created the original Naruto manga series which ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from September 21, 1999 to November 10, 2014. 72 volumes were published, and VIZ Media acquired the rights to publish the manga series in English in North America.
Naruto was also followed up by a sequel series centered on Naruto's son, Boruto, titled Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and its post-time skip series, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, which are created by Kishimoto and Mikio Ikemoto. The shonen franchise also inspired several original anime feature films.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto #1 is scheduled to release on November 13, 2024.
