The anime adaptation of Tsuyoshi Fujitaka’s light novel series, My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me!, is scheduled to begin broadcasting in January 2024, but anime fans will have the chance to watch the first episode before the isekai series premieres in January 2024. Today, HIDIVE has announced, that the world premiere of My Instant Death Ability Is Overpowered will happen this Friday, November 17, at this year's Anime NYC, and it will be hosted by Star Butler.
Based on the light novel series by Fujitaka and illustrated by Chisato Naruse, the TV anime adaptation of My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me! is directed by Masakazu Hishida at studio Okuruto Noboru. Jou Aoba is charge of the series composition, Sayuri Sakimoto is the character designer, and the music is composed by Hanae Nakamura, Tatsuhiko Saiki, Kanade Sakuma, and Daisuke Kadowaki.
As for the Japanese voice cast, Koki Uchiyama will play the protagonist, Yogiri Tokatou. Other cast includes Miyu Tomita as Chichika Dannoura, Tomoko Kaneda as Dannoura Mokomoko, Yui Horie as Sage Shion, Rina Sato as Sage Rain, Hiro Shimono as Hanakawa Daimon, Yoshiki Murakami as Hiroki Tachibana, and Lynn as Asaka Takato.

Awaking to absolute chaos and carnage while on a school trip, Yogiri Takatou discovers that everyone in his class has been transported to another world! He had somehow managed to sleep through the entire ordeal himself, missing out on the Gift — powers bestowed upon the others by a mysterious Sage who appeared to transport them. Even worse, he and another classmate were ruthlessly abandoned by their friends, left as bait to distract a nearby dragon.
