After the big reveal that Yuga Aoyama is the U.A. traitor, Shota Aizawa returns to craft a plan to make use of the Shining Hero. Aizawa wants to help Aoyama and his family redeem themselves and will use them to communicate with All for One. As this may bring AFO out of hiding, the preview for My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 5, titled Let You Down, hints at the beginning of the war.

You can watch the My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 5 trailer below:

The My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 5 trailer begins with Spinner in the villains’ hideout. AFO then appears and talks to someone unseen. The scene then shifts to Rikido Sato and Tokoyami’s discussion, followed by Momo Yaoyoruzu and All Might delivering their spiels. Kota Izumi, Ordinary Woman, Inko Midoriya, and Mitsuki Bakugo are now out and about, and they all look both surprised and afraid as they stare at something in the skies.

Himiko Toga then bites her hand, which starts to bleed, while Dabi watches the public while hiding in what looks like a building. Ochaco Uraraka and Deku appear together, seemingly frightened by what’s to come. Shoto Todoroki, Eijiro Kirishima, and Bakugo Katsuki are all together in one room and having a conversation. As the next scene features Shoto, Aoyama, and Deku, one after another, they seem to be preparing for the war that’s about to come.

Alternatively, the stills for My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 5 hint that the villains have come out of hiding. Himiko is out in the middle of the night, while Dabi looks happy as he peeks out the window. AFO and Spinner remain in their hideout, while Rikido and Hanta Sero are also out and about. Bakugo comfortably lies on his back while another still shows Shoto and Eijiro looking at him in a room. Ochaco and Deku look from afar and the last still shows Aoyama holding his phone with a sad look.
