The battle between Tomura Shigaraki and Star and Stripe is far from over. The two will continue their face-off in the upcoming My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 2, titled Ghost. But though Star and Stripe overwhelms the enemy with her incredible powers, the next episode’s preview shows Shigaraki and One for All prepared for her attack.
You can trailer the preview below:
The My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 2 trailer starts with Star and Stripe’s fleet, followed by a scene where she holds a gigantic laser that she aims to use to crash Shigaraki. Sure, it stuns Shigaraki and even immobilizes him, but he’s still alive.
Endeavor is then seen flying over the sky while following a car carrying Beast Jeanist and Hawks from the previous episode. The other heroes appear together, led by Deku, Bakugo, and Shoto, while All Might appears before them. The preview ends with Star and Stripe unleashing her quirk, conquering the skies with her powers as she tries to defeat Shigaraki.
Alternatively, the new episode’s stills feature Cathleen Bate with a bandage on her face and without her Star and Stripe suit, seemingly hinting that her battle with Shigaraki will end here. A photo of the US Army is also revealed, and they seem to be confident and proud.
A preview of Star and Stripe holding the gigantic laser to stab Shigaraki is also seen. It’s followed by her astral projection and Shigaraki, who looks damaged but still happy. All Might appears, while Tenya Iida, Ochaco Uraraka, and Tsuyu Asui bond. For the last still, Deku appears cheerful, the complete opposite of Koji Koda, Bakugo, and Momo Yaoyorozu’s serious appearance.
