Tomura Shigaraki has proven his great powers and abilities in his fight against the Class 1-A heroes in My Hero Academia Season 7. The villain remains unbeatable despite the combined efforts of Bakugo and Best Jeanist as they wait for Deku to arrive at UA’s Coffin in the Sky to face Shigaraki. But as the wait continues, the preview for the upcoming Episode 11, titled Light Fades to Rain, shows The Big 3, composed of Mirio Togata, Tamaki Amajiki, and Nejire Hado, joining forces to fight off Shigaraki.

As released by the anime’s official website, the My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 11 trailer shows Bakugo falling to the ground after fighting off Shigaraki. Seeing Bakugo being defeated, Neito Monoma and Shota Aizawa look visibly angry. Later, Shigaraki lifts Bakugo while choking him, putting the hero student’s life in danger. Mirko comes to Bakugo’s rescue, but Shigaraki’s tentacles stop her.
Edgshot also appears, trying to avoid Shigaraki’s quirk as he tries his best to save Bakugo. A heavily bleeding Best Jeanist watches the scene in horror as Shigaraki hides Bakugo with his powers. From there, Nejire, Tamaki, and Mirio prepare themselves as they arrive in Coffin in the Sky to face Shigaraki.
Alternatively, the new episode’s stills show the heroes’ reactions as they witness Shigaraki's attempt to kill Bakugo. Neito and Shota look worried and mad, while the next reveals how Shigaraki enjoys the scene. Mirio prepares to wield his powerful punch, and Best Jeanist finally has Bakugo by his side.
Nejire appears eager to defeat Shigaraki, and Tamaki unleashes his great power to bring the enemy down. Bakugo is finally freed from Shigaraki’s clutches, but their battle takes its toll on his body. For the last still, U.A. High School’s The Big 3 shows what they got as they prepare for the big fight against Shigaraki.

What to Expect from My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 11
My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 11 will focus on the fight against Shigaraki after Bakugo’s full-power Hauser Impact proves ineffective against the villain’s abilities. Shigaraki plans to enrage Deku by killing Bakugo, but the other heroes will not let him do that. As Best Jeanist, Edgeshot, and Mirko are all also of no match against Shigaraki, The Big 3 will arrive to stand up for them.

The anime is based on Kohei Horikoshi’s manga of the same title. Since starting serialization in July 2014, it has collected 40 tankobon volumes and sold over 100 million copies worldwide as of April 2024.
