My Hero Academia Season 7 may not have an official release date yet, but the anime has been giving fans a good look at the series’ characters. After dropping the new Class 1-A designs, it has now released new character visuals for the franchise’s villains and other pro heroes.
Based on Kōhei Horikoshi’s manga of the same name, it has spawned a successful media franchise thanks to its commercial success. It has inspired several spinoff manga, light novels, different types of merchandise and media, animated movies, OVAs, and even video games. There’s even a planned live-action movie by Legendary Entertainment. And, of course, its iterations won’t be complete without an anime adapted by Studio Bones. So, after six successful seasons, My Hero Academia Season 7 is about to come.
The anime’s official website has released the characters’ new designs, starting with the much-hated villains, Dabi, Himiko Toga, and Tomura Shigaraki. The three’s appearance features their transformations in the previous season. Shigaraki highlights his reborn look, appearing more powerful than ever with his pure white hair and red cape.
Dabi, alternatively, is now wearing the look he unveiled to his father after their battle in My Hero Academia Season 6. Just like Shigaraki, he sports all-white hair but with flaming-blue hands. In addition, Toga looks sinister in her uniform while holding a syringe that lets her use her quirk to draw blood from other people. Though these stills may not directly reference My Hero Academia Season 7 and will be used in merchandise and other side materials, they may still be continuously seen in these appearances in the new season.

Meanwhile, the anime has also dropped the new pro hero character visuals, starting with All Might, who still looks as powerful as ever despite his retirement. It also sees Hawks in his hero glory, unleashing his wings while holding a feather in his hand, ready to fight. Next is Endeavor, who shows off his great power with his Hellflame. Well, he won’t be named the Flame Hero for nothing. Lastly, Mirko features her leg strength and jumping ability with her kicking pose, proving she’s indeed the Rabbit Hero.

What to expect in My Hero Academia Season 7
My Hero Academia Season 7 is expected to continue where the previous season left off. If it remains faithful to its source material, it will see the introduction of the USA hero, Star and Stripe, after All for One break free from prison and gather all his allies. There will be a battle between these two, but a major fallout will happen after Star and Stripe’s defeat.
The new season will also see one Class 1-A member betray the other heroes, along with the continuation of the Todoroki family drama with a fight between Dabi and Shoto. With this intense turn of events, fans will witness a major conflict between the heroes and the strong collaboration of AFO and Shigaraki.
My Hero Academia Season 7 has yet to have an official release date, but it’s expected to be released sometime in spring 2024. That said, fans will continuously look for more updates about the new season.
