Studio Kinema Citrus, which animated the first season of the romance fantasy anime, is also producing the animation of My Happy Marriage Season 2, which officially premiered on January 6. Takehiro Kubota is once again directing the sequel, and he is joined by Masayuki Kojima. Ami Sato is in charge of the script once again alongside Momoka Toyoda, Fuka Ishii, and Misato Hashiba. Shoko Yasuda is back as the character designer, and Evan Call is back as the music composer for the second season.
