The first season of My Happy Marriage has become of the most-watched anime shows in 2024, and with a second season coming next month, its viewership and popularity will continue to rise. Today, ahead of the anime's January 6 premiere, the official anime YouTube channel of Kadokawa has released the creditless ending video for My Happy Marriage Season 2, featuring the theme song Tsukikage Okuri by Kashitaro Ito.
My Happy Marriage Season 1 has put this couple on a level field, but the Taisho era is far from peaceful. With forces still threatening the couple, Miyo Saimori and Kiyoka Kudo will have to work together to overcome the forces after them. Miyo also has to deal with the feelings for her would-be husband. The video, which you can watch below, features stunning visuals of the couple that'll get the audience back in the romantic mood.

Studio Kinema Citrus, which animated Season 1 of the TV anime adaptation, will return to animate My Happy Marriage Season 2. Takehiro Kubota will also return as director, and he will be joined by Masayuki Kojima. Ami Sato will be in charge of the script once again alongside Momoka Toyoda, Fuka Ishii, and Misato Hashiba. Shoko Yasuda will return as character designer, and Evan Call is back as the music composer for the second season.

What is My Happy Marriage about?
My Happy Marriage is based on the light novel series (Japanese: Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon) written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka. Initially published online via the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website, My Happy Marriage was later acquired by Fujimi Shobo, who has released the lseries since January 2019 under their Fujimi L Bunko imprint. Yen Press, which licensed the light novel series in English, shared a plot description for My Happy Marriage:
Born talentless to a noble family famous for their supernatural abilities, Miyo Saimori is forced into an existence of servitude by her abusive stepmother. When Miyo finally comes of marriageable age, though, her hopes of being whisked away to a better life crumble after she discovers her fiancé’s identity: Kiyoka Kudou, a commander apparently so cold and cruel that his previous would-be brides all fled within three days of their engagements. With no home to return to, Miyo resigns herself to her fate—and soon finds that her pale and beautiful husband-to-be is anything but the monster she expected. As they slowly open their hearts to each other, both realize the other may be their chance at finding true love and happiness.
