Following the broadcast of the final episode of My Happy Marriage Season 2 in Japan, the official accounts of the romance fantasy anime have announced a new anime project for the series. A trailer and visual were released along with the announcement, confirming the production of the upcoming anime project, but unfortunately, no concrete details, such as its release date and format, were revealed. The format could take any form like an OVA, a feature film, or a full season (Season 3) of the TV anime series.

The first episode of My Happy Marriage Season 2 premiered on January 6, continuing the story after the Episode 13 OVA that Netflix releaed on November 22, 2024. Studio Kinema Citrus animated the first two seasons, and it was directed by Takehiro Kubota with scripts written by Ami Sato, Fuka Ishii, Misato Hashiba, and Momoka Toyoda. Shoko Yasuda was the character designer and Evan Call was the anime's music composer.

My Happy Marriage Season 2 Episode 13 Netflix Release Date
Following the delay update last week, My Happy Marriage Season 2 Episode 13 (Episode 26 overall) was scheduled to release on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 10:30 pm JST on Tokyo MX and other networks in Japan. Viewers in Japan are now able to watch it on Tokyo MX, followed by broadcasts on BSII, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, TV Aichi, and other channels.
Release times will vary internationally due to time zone differences. The series will be available to stream globally on Netflix, and it will also be released on other platforms like Disney+, Hulu, ABEMA, and Lemino in select regions. My Happy Marriage Season 2 is listed with a total of 13 episodes, so this is the final episode.
At the time of this reporting, My Happy Marriage Season 2 Episode 13 is not available to stream on Netflix, but we can expect the streamer to release it soon.

What is My Happy Marriage about?
My Happy Marriage is based on the light novel series (Japanese: Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon) written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka. Initially published online via the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website, My Happy Marriage was later acquired by Fujimi Shobo, who has released the series since January 2019 under their Fujimi L Bunko imprint. Yen Press, which licensed the light novel series in English, shared a plot description for My Happy Marriage:
Born talentless to a noble family famous for their supernatural abilities, Miyo Saimori is forced into an existence of servitude by her abusive stepmother. When Miyo finally comes of marriageable age, though, her hopes of being whisked away to a better life crumble after she discovers her fiancé’s identity: Kiyoka Kudou, a commander apparently so cold and cruel that his previous would-be brides all fled within three days of their engagements. With no home to return to, Miyo resigns herself to her fate—and soon finds that her pale and beautiful husband-to-be is anything but the monster she expected. As they slowly open their hearts to each other, both realize the other may be their chance at finding true love and happiness.
