It's been about 10 months since we've last seen Kim Yoo-jung in My Demon with Song Kang, but she may soon be teaming-up with Extraordinary Attorney Woo director Yoo In-shik for a new K-drama. JTBC Entertainment News (via Naver) recently reported that Kim Yoo-jung is in talks to star in 100 Days of Lies (literal title), an upcoming drama directed by Yoo In-shik.
100 Days of Lies is about Gyeongseong’s (now Seoul) top pickpocket who ends up working at the Japanese Government-General of Korea as an undercover spy for the independence movement. Scriptwriter Ryu Bo-ri (Do You Like Brahms?, Trolley) is penning the script for the new drama.
In response to the report, Kim Yoo-jung's agency Awesome ENT revealed that “It is one of the projects she has been offered.” According to the report, the 25-year-old actress has been offered the role of Gyeongseong’s top pickpocket.

Kim Yoo-jung's next K-drama is TVING"s original series Dear X (working title), which is currently in production. She will play the role of Baek A-jin, a woman who wears a mask to survive. Her character is described to be a a top actress in South Korea who conceals her cruel nature behind her beautiful face.
Dear X is written by Choi Ja-won, co-directed by Park So-hyun and Lee Eung-bok. The series is based on the Naver webtoon of the same title by Vanziun, which depicts the downfall of top actress Baek A-jin and her two faces concealed behind it. Joining Yoo-jung in this series are Kim Young-dae, Kim Do-hoon, and Lee Yul-eum. Hwang In-youp is also said to make a special appearance in the drama.
My Dear X was planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Siwoo Company and Monster Union, and it's schduled to premiere on TVING in 2025.
Meanwhile, filmmaker Yoo In-shik is set to direct The Wonder Fools starring Extraordinary Attorney star Park Eun-bin and True Beauty star Cha Eun-woo, with 100 Days of Lies expected to be in production after that.
