The Sisters Arc of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 is ending in this week's game-changing episode, Turning Point 3, and the production team behind the popular isekai anime series has teased what's next for Rudeus Greyrat and his allies. A new trailer and key visual has been revealed for Labyrinth Arc, which will kick off in the nineteenth episode of the anime's two-part second season. It was also announced that the anime will be taking a break next Sunday (May 19), and will return to start the Labyrinth Arc on May 26 with the premiere of Episode 19. It looks like Rudeus and Roxy will be reuniting in the Labyrinth Arc, and the party will finally back in action as the trailer and visual feature them looking ready for battle. In the trailer, we see Rudeus, with his magic staff, casting spells in the desert as he fights an enemy before showing us footages of him with Roxy and the rest of the team exploring a dark dungeon and battling a powerful three-headed monster. It looks like Rudeus is struggling to fight the gigantic creature, and we get a good preview of the spectacular destructive spells we can expect in the remaining episodes of Season 2.

The second cour of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2, which kicked off last month, is directed by Ryousuke Shibuya (The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World), marking the second directional change for the anime series (The first season was directed by Onimai‘s Shingo Fujii, and Season 1 assistant director Hiroki Hirano directed Season 2 Part 1). As for the returning staff: Toshiya Oono is the series composer once again while Yoshiko Saitou (Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible) and Sanae Shimada are the character designers. The art director is Masakazu Miyake, and the music composer is Yoshiaki Fujisawa.

What is Mushoku Tensei's Labyrinth Arc about?

The Labyrinth Arc (迷宮編 Meikyū-hen) is based on Volume 12 of the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation light novel series written Rifujin na Magonote and illustrated by Shirotaka. Seven Seas Entertainment shared an official synopsis for Vol. 12:

Rudeus and Paul must descend into the deadly depths of a Teleportation Labyrinth to rescue Zenith. The father-son duo makes short work of deadly beasts and ancient magical traps, but it's the terrible truth at the Labyrinth's heart that proves the greatest threat of all. What happens when all hope is shattered beyond recall?

Where to Watch Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Episode 19

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Episode 19 will be available to stream on Crunchyroll and Hulu in the U.S, and as mentioned earlier, the anime will be taking a break next week, so expect it to premiere on Sunday, May 26. The newest anime episodes of Season 2 will air every Sunday, and the second season is confirmed to have a total of 25 episodes (in 2 cours), so we can expect 7 more new episodes after Episode 18 this season.
