One of the most popular and acclaimed isekai anime series, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2, is streaming this year. Based on the Japanese light novel series by Rifujin na Magonote, with illustrations by Shirotaka, the anime is being animated by Studio and confirmed to have two cours. Fans will continuously see Rudeus’ adventure as he navigates the world of magic and mystery.
For starters, Mushoku Tensei follows the story of an unnamed 34-year-old man who tries to stop a speeding truck from hitting a group of teenagers to do something good for once in his life. After pulling one of them from danger, he ultimately dies and is later reincarnated as Rudeus Greyrat, leaving his past life behind to become a talented mage. The anime’s first season premiered in January 2021 and had 24 episodes.

The sixth episode of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 is titled I Don’t Want to Die. Here, Rudeus has deepened his relationship with Fitz while investigating the transfer incident. After Rudeus started going to Ranoa Magic University, Zanoba worships him as a doll (figure) master. Later, Rudeus heads to the slave market to look for someone who can do the work for Zanoba, as she’s unable to create dolls due to her unusual strength. Check the preview stills below:
