Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Episode 24 Preview Teases Sylphy's Reaction

In the previous episode of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2, Rudeus Greyrat and his friends at the Labyrinth City of Rapan grieved his father Paul's death during their mission to save Zenith from the clutches of the Teleport Labyrinth's Manatite Hydra. Much of Season 2 Episode 23 focused on Rudy's relationship with Roxy, and his party's long journey back to his home in Sharia. Roxy confessed her love to Rudy, who's already married to Sylphiette. Sylphy's grandmother, Elenalise, advised Rudy to marry Roxy as his second wife, and when Rudy brought up the idea to Roxy later that night, she told him to ask her again after he brings it up to his first wife.

The official website of the anime has revealed a teaser trailer, preview stills and a synopsis for Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Episode 24, titled Succession, which will be the season finale. The trailer and preview stills reveal that Rudy and company have reached his home, and we can expect to see his little sisters, Norn and Aisha, react to the news of their father's death. They clearly look devastated, but the more intriguing part of the episode will be how Rudy will reveal to Sylphy his intention to marry his magic master, Roxy. The preview shows us a glimpse of Sylphy's expression, and we're excited to see her reaction in the Season 2 finale.

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Episode 24 is scheduled to premiere this Sunday, June 30. Studio Bind is still producing the animation for the popular isekai anime. The official synopsis of the next episode reads:

After six months, Rudeus returns home to where Sylphy and the others are waiting for him. He talks about what happened in the teleportation labyrinth, Paul's death, Zenith's condition, and more. He also talks about Roxy... What will Norn, Aisha, and Sylphy responses be...?

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2 is directed by Ryousuke Shibuya (The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World), marking the second directional change for the anime series (Season 1 was directed by Onimai‘s Shingo Fujii, and the assistant director of the first season, Hiroki Hirano, directed Season 2 Part 1). As for the returning staff: Toshiya Oono is the series composer once again while Yoshiko Saitou (Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible) and Sanae Shimada are the character designers. The art director is Masakazu Miyake, and the music composer is Yoshiaki Fujisawa.

What is Labyrinth Arc of Mushoku Tensei about?

The Labyrinth Arc (迷宮編 Meikyū-hen) is adapting the final chapters of Volume 11 and Volume 12 of the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation light novel series written Rifujin na Magonote and illustrated by Shirotaka. Seven Seas Entertainment shared an official synopsis for Vol. 12:

Rudeus and Paul must descend into the deadly depths of a Teleportation Labyrinth to rescue Zenith. The father-son duo makes short work of deadly beasts and ancient magical traps, but it's the terrible truth at the Labyrinth's heart that proves the greatest threat of all. What happens when all hope is shattered beyond recall?

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Episode 24 was released on Crunchyroll and Hulu in the U.S, on Sunday, June 30. The newest anime episodes of Season 2 aired every Sunday, and the second season is confirmed to have a total of 24 episodes (in 2 cours), so that was the final episode of the second season. Season 3 hasn't officially been confirmed yet, but given the popularity of the anime, we can expect it to be confirmed soon.
