After the end of Stranger Things Season 5, fans are about to see a different Millie Bobby Brown in the new Netflix movie Damsel. From fighting the monsters in Upside Down, the actress, who became famous for her role as Eleven, is about to face a dragon, and the streamer has dropped the first look at the movie.
Netflix has been dropping major announcements at the ongoing Geeked Week event, including revealing the official poster for Damsel. It also teased that an official trailer would be released on Saturday, November 11.
True to the film’s story, Brown, who will play the role of Princess Elodie, is seen trapped in the middle of a rock cave, which has a hole that is just exactly her size, in the poster. And by the looks of it, the poor princess is screaming for help.

The Academy Award-nominated Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, who’s also behind 28 Days Later and Intacto, directs Damsel. Dan Mazeau, who wrote Wrath of the Titans, pens the movie’s script. According to several reports, Brown’s new Netflix movie has a budget of about $60-$70 million.
What is Damsel about?
Damsel is a fantasy adventure movie about betrayal, human sacrifices, and dragons. It will see Brown as a dutiful princess who marries a prince but ends up as a sacrifice to repay an ancient debt. Elodie will then find herself in a cave where a fire-breathing dragon lives. For her to survive, she must rely on her wits and bravery.
