The official website and accounts for the anime adaptation of Medaka Kuroiwa is Impervious to My Charms have released the main trailer that confirms its January 6, 2025 release date. The upcoming romantic comedy anime is scheduled to premiere on that day at 24:00 JST (effectively January 7 at 0:00) in Japan. The trailer also previews the opening and ending theme songs of the anime. Hololive is performing the opening song titled Ame Tokimeki Koimoyo, while Kaori Maeda is performing the ending theme song, Kyun Api.
Studio SynergySP is animating Medaka Kuroiwa, with Yoshiaki Okumura (The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made) directing the TV anime adaptation. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun) is in charge of the series composition, Mayumi Watanabe (Taisho Otome Fairy Tale) is on the character designs, and Akiyuki Tateyama (Laid-Back Camp) is on the anime's music.

The romantic comedy anime is based on the Medaka Kuroiwa Is Impervious to My Charms (Japanese: Kuroiwa Medaka ni Watashi no Kawaii ga Tsūjinai) manga series written and illustrated by Ran Kuze. It began serialization in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in May 2021, and as of October 2024, 16 tankōbon volumes have been published.
