The official website and social media accounts for the upcoming Mecha-Ude: Mechanical Arms anime has revealed its third key visual and announced its premiere date: October 3, 2024 at 24:30 JST (effectively October 4 at 0:30) in Japan. It was also announced that Kappei Yamaguchi (Usopp in One Piece) is joining the voice cast as Kagami Group founder Yakumo, shown on the left in the background below. The casting for his older brother Tsukihito, shown on Yakumo's right, hasn't been revealed yet.

Studio TriF will be in charge of the animation for Mecha-Ude: Mechanical Arms anime, with original creator Sae Okamoto directing the anime and Yasuhiro Naknishi writing the series composition. Terumi Nishii and Yoko Uchida are in charge of the character designs, Nurikabe on Mecha-Ude designs and concept art, and KOHTA YAMAMOTO, DAIKI(AWSM.) and Hiroyuki Sawano on the music. The opening song Ambivalent is performed by Eve, while the ending theme Alone is performed by AZLiGHTZ.

What is Mecha-Ude: Mechanical Arms about?
Mecha-Ude is an original anime project created by Okamoto, a member of the TriF Studio. She is known for directing the 2018 short film with TriF, after a crowdfunding campaign which received nearly $67,000 in less than a couple of months.
