Creepy Nuts has released a new collaboration music video for Bling-Bang-Bang-Born, the popular opening song of Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 2. The anime adaptation of Hajime Komoto's comedy fantasy shonen series is currently airing on Crunchyroll, and its catchy opening theme song became such a huge hit that the official music video surpassed 2 million views in just 5 days.

Bling-Bang-Bang-Born was released alongisde the premiere of Mashle Season 2 on January 6. The official music video currently has 66 million views. The anime's opening sequence was storyboarded and directed by Shun Enokido, with Hisashi Higashijima as the animation director. The lyrics of the Bling-Bang-Bang-Born were written by Creepy Nuts' R-shitei, and the music was composed by DJ Matsunaga. The duo previously composed the theme songs for Call of the Night anime adaptation.

A-1 Pictures is animating Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 2 with Tomoya Tanaka as the director. Yosuke Kuroda worked on the series composition, and Hisashi Tojima worked on the character designs. The ending theme song, titled Tokyo's Way!, is performed by Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku.

What is Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 2 about?

Mashle: Magic and Muscles anime is based on the manga series by Hajime Komoto, which has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from January 2020 to July 2023. The shonen series already concluded with 162 manga chapters, and the second season of the anime is adapting The Divine Visionary Candidate Exam Arc, which is the fourth arc of the manga that picks up at Chapter 44.

The arc introduces the 'Prefect' system of Easton Magic Academy, and it's expected to center on the Divine Visionary Selection Exam, which is used to find the student that will become the newest member of the Divine Visionaries. The title of Divine Missionary is given to an exceptional student amongst one of the 3 magic schools, revered as one of God's chosen once every year. As the core of Bureau of Magic, they are considered to be some of the most influential sorcerers of the country.
