Mashle: Magic and Muscles - The Divine Visionary Candidate Exam Arc (Season 2) officially started airing earlier this year, and ten episodes have been released so far. Now, the official website of the anime has shared preview stills and official synopsis for Episode 24 (Season 2, Episode 12), which is scheduled to premiere on March 30, 2024. Now that Mash has defeated the giant demon corpse from Innocent Zero, it looks like the next episode will focus back on Mash's good friends, and the official synopsis for the episode teases that they're going somewhere.

The souvenir that the Fuchigen (Innocent Zero) left behind when he left was a giant corpse fused with a demon corpse. In a hopeless situation where all magic is blocked by a barrier that nullifies magic, the students cheer for Mash as he fights desperately. Mash responded to the cheers. A few days later, as news of the attack by Innocent Zero spreads through the city, where did Mash and his friends go?
What is Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 2 about?
Mashle: Magic and Muscles anime is based on Hajime Komoto's Mashle manga series, which has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from January 2020 and recently ended in July 2023. The shonen series has a total of 162 chapters, and there are currently 16 volumes to date. Season 2 is adapting the Divine Visionary Selection Exam Arc, which is the fourth arc of the manga that picks up at Chapter 44. A-1 Pictures is animating the second season.
The arc is introducing the 'Prefect' system of Easton Magic Academy, and it centers on the Divine Visionary Selection Exam, which is used to find the student that will become the newest member of the Divine Visionaries. The title of Divine Visionary is given to an exceptional student amongst one of the 3 magic schools, revered as one of God's chosen once every year. As the core of Bureau of Magic, they are considered to be some of the most influential sorcerers of the country.
