In the past couple of years, some iconic Star Wars video games were brought over to Nintendo Switch by Aspyr. A total of seven remasters have been released on the eShop, where they have been available for players to buy separately or as a part of a bundle that was introduced recently known as the Star Wars: Heritage Pack. The Heritage Pack will officially arrive as part of a physical release in retailers and can be purchased for the price of $59.99.
The Star Wars: Heritage Pack consists of the following seven popular video games:
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Star Wars Episode I: Racer
Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Star Wars: Republic Commando
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords
There was a certain point when the games in the Star Wars: Heritage Pack were supposed to be a part of official continuity, but that changed once Disney purchased the entire franchise. Out of those seven Star Wars games, five of them will be available on the physical cartridge itself. However, both Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords are going to require a download.
Pre-orders for both games have already gone live. Players looking to get their hands on the Star Wars: Heritage Pack can pre-order it from Best Buy or Target here. Those who aren’t fans of physical games can get the collection now from the Nintendo Switch eShop.
The Most Popular Star Wars Games
If you don’t know the games in Star Wars: Heritage Pack, then know that many of them have become absolute fan favorites over the decades. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, especially, is considered one of the best Star Wars games ever to exist.
James Gunn, the director of Guardians of the Galaxy, is also a huge fan of the game, calling it his personal favorite from the Star Wars media. He isn’t the only one to think that way since many players have praised the RPG ever since its release back in 2003 on the original Xbox. If you haven’t experienced Knights of the Old Republic, then the Heritage Pack is your best chance to do so!
