Earlier this month, Konosuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World! returned for its third season, continuing the adventures of Kazuma and his party for the first time since the 2019 Legend of Crimson movie. With two episodes already out, fans are looking forward to find out what's next for Kazuma and friends after spending time with Princess Iris. The official website of the isekai anime has released preview stills and plot synopsis for KonoSuba Season 3 Episode 3.

The title of KonoSuba Season 3 Episode 3 is A Re-education for this Bright Little Girl!, and the synopsis reveal that Princess Iris ends up involving Kazuma in her return teleport, but it looks things are going to heat up as the Demon King's army alarm sounds in the capital. The official synopsis of KonoSuba Season 3 Episode 3 reads:

Princess Iris was supposed to have dinner at Darkness's mansion and say goodbye, but instead she ends up involving Kazuma in her return teleport and brings her to the royal castle! She is surprised at first, but after asking Rain, the princess's bodyguard and educator, Kazuma agrees to be Iris's conversation partner. Iris listens to Kazuma's stories with sparkling eyes. Claire, the bodyguard and educator, tries desperately to stop him from talking, but her resistance is futile... At that time, the Demon King's army alarm sounds in the capital! ?

What is KonoSuba about?

KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! is based on the light novel series of the same title (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!) written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima, which was first published in 2013, and ended in 2020, after seventeen volumes were released. The isekai fantasy series has multiple spin-offs and side stories.

After a traffic accident, Kazuma Sato’s disappointingly brief life was supposed to be over, but he wakes up to see a beautiful girl before him. She claims to be a goddess, Aqua, and asks if he would like to go to another world and bring only one thing with him. Kazuma decides to bring the goddess herself, and they are transported to a fantasy world filled with adventure, ruled by a demon king. Now Kazuma only wants to live in peace, but Aqua wants to solve many of this world’s problems, and the demon king will only turn a blind eye for so long…

Update: KonoSuba Season 3 Episode 3 premiered on Wednesday, April 24, and fans in North America and other select regions can now stream it on Crunchyroll. The platform is also streaming the first two seasons of the TV anime and Konosuba -God's Blessing on this Wonderful World! – Legend of Crimson. The third season is confirmed to have a total of 11 episodes, so we can expect 8 more new episodes to arrive for the Spring 2024 season.
