SBS has released the first teaser for Good Partner 2, and it wastes no time putting Cha Eun-kyung and Kang Hye-sung on opposite sides of a courtroom. The two divorce lawyers meet as opposing counsel, and their first encounter plays out as a tense battle of nerves.
The teaser opens with Cha Eun-kyung's confident walk to her office, drawing attention from everyone she passes. "I'm representative attorney Cha Eun-kyung of law firm REBOM," she introduces herself, back at the head of the firm she built into a 50-person operation over three years.
Across from her stands Kang Hye-sung, an experienced attorney who jumps into action at any moment for a win, with a practice spanning debt collection, civil and criminal cases. Kang is visibly flustered at their first meeting, and Cha Eun-kyung does not let the moment pass, asking, "It's not your first divorce case by any chance, is it?"
When Cha Eun-kyung advises her to try broadening her horizons, the remark fires Kang Hye-sung up instead of discouraging her. "I will definitely win the case," Kang resolves, even as Cha Eun-kyung calmly parries her best shot and leaves her glaring.

Cha Eun-kyung is a 20-year veteran divorce attorney for whom divorce is a calling, and she weighs not only the outcome of a case but also the life her clients will face after it. Kang Hye-sung has earned her reputation through repeated victories and a tenacity that never misses even the smallest clue, along with a particular devotion to divorce cases.
The season follows the two lawyers, who differ in both thinking and method, as their courtroom clash gradually turns them into each other's good partners. Good Partner 2 tells the stories of people confronting lives that continue after divorce, and moments of choice with no right answer.
The production team has said the new season widens its focus beyond the courtroom battles themselves. "The second season will go a step further from focusing solely on divorce cases to spotlight the life of clients and decisions that continue even after divorce," the team shared.
Divorce attorney Choi Yu-na, who wrote the first season, returns as the writer, with Seo Min-jung directing. Jang Na-ra won the grand prize at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards for the previous season and once again leads the series as Cha Eun-kyung.
Good Partner 2 premieres on Friday, November 20, at 9:50 p.m. KST on SBS. The teaser sets up a rivalry first and a partnership second, with the two attorneys set to understand each other's methods and values as the season unfolds.
