The anime adaptation of I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level light novel series has released a new trailer and updated key visual for its upcoming second season. The new trailer introduces a new character named Sandra (voiced by Yui Ogura), a turquoise-haired 300-year-old mandragora girl. The anime's key visual was also updated to include her. I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years Season 2 is scheduled to premiere in 2025. Watch the new trailer below:

Studio Teddy is in charge of the animation for the upcoming isekai sequel, with Kunihisa Sugishima as director. Naohiro Fukushima is working on the series composition, and Hikaru Kodama is in charge of the character designs. The main voice cast members will be reprising their roles, and they include:

  • Minami Tanaka as Shalsha

  • Manami Numakura as Beelzebub

  • Azumi Waki as Flatorte

What is The I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level about?

The anime is based on the I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level (Japanese: Suraimu Taoshite Sanbyaku-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Reberu Makkusu ni Nattemashita) light novel series written by Kisetsu Morita and illustrated by Benio. The first volume of the isekai series was published by SB Creative in 2017, and Yen Press, who licensed the light novels in English, published the first volume in April 2018. It also received a manga adaptation by Yūsuke Shiba in the same year as its launch of the light novel in Square Enix's Gangan Online website.

Revoroot animated the first season of the anime adaptation, and it aired from April to June 2021. Crunchyroll, which is streaming the series, shared a description of I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level :

After dying of overwork in the real world, I’m reincarnated as an immortal witch, and I spend 300 years enjoying a relaxing life. At some point, though, I end up at level 99! All those years spent killing slimes to make the money to pay the bills gave me a ton of experience points. Rumors of the level 99 witch spread, and soon I’m up to my ears in curious adventurers, duelist dragons, and even a monster girl calling me her mom! I’ve never been on an adventure, but I’m the strongest in the world… What’s going to happen to my relaxing life?!
