The official website of the I'm in Love with the Villainess anime has revealed preview stills and official synopsis for Episode 9, which is scheduled to premiere on Monday, November 27. The title of the episode translates to "My Lord is eternal and unchanging". The preview and synopsis reveal that the anime's two leads, Rae Taylor's (voiced by Yuu Serizawa) and Claire (Karin Nanami), will have to join forces with a masked man to fight a Chimera.

The official synopsis for I'm in Love with the Villainess Episode 9 reads:
The conflict between the nobility and the commoners was taking place in the academy. In the courtyard incident in which Dede’s magic went out of control, Lambert who is Lene’s older brother was actually the one behind it all. However, he was also forced by the neighboring Naa Empire to take the life of his beloved sister Lene. With the help of a masked man who suddenly appears, Rae and Claire join forces to fight off the Chimera, a monster that has been unleashed at the academy to kill the nobles.
What is I'm in Love with the Villainess about?
Studio Platinum Vision is producing the animation of I’m in Love with the Villainess, which is based on the light novel series of the same title (Japanese: 私の推しは悪役令嬢 - Watashi no Oshi wa Akuyaku Reijō) written by Inori and illustrated by Hanagata. Originally published in January 2018, the series was acquired by Ichijinsha at a later date and has published a total of five volumes. A manga adaptation by Anoshimo was released in June 2020. The light novels are licensed in English by Seven Seas Entertainment, which shared the following story description:
Ordinary office worker Ohashi Rei wakes up in the body of the protagonist of her favorite otome game, Revolution. To her delight, the first person to greet her is also her favorite character, Claire Francois—the main antagonist of the story! Now, Rei is determined to romance Claire instead of the game’s male leads. But how will her villainous ladylove react to this new courtship?!
I'm in Love with the Villainess anime is directed by Hideaki Obi, with Ayumu Hisao writing the script, Yoko Sato working on the character designs, and Noriyuki Asakura composing the music.
