I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class anime will begin streaming on Crunchyroll in early January 2025!

The anime adaptation of Seiju Amano and Nanami Narumi's I Got Married to the Girl I Hate Most in Class light novel series is one of the most exciting romantic comedy series premiering in the Winter 2025 anime season. Today, the latest character trailer and visual for the anime, titled I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class, were released to introduced one of the anime's supporting characters: the head-over-heels underclasswoman, Maho (voiced by Kaori Maeda). The new video previews Maho's seductive look and cheerful personality.

Tatsuya Takahashi (The Faraway Paladin: The Lord of the Rust Mountains) is the screenwriter of the anime; Nanako Tatsu (Date A Live V assistant character designer) is the character designer; and Miyabi Ozeki (World’s End Harem character designer) is the sub-character designer. Arisa Okehazama (The Apothecary Diaries co-composer) is composing the music of the anime.

I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class anime is based on the romcom light novel series (Japanese title: Kurasu no Dai Kirai na Joshi to Kekkon suru Koto ni Natta) written by Seiju Amano and illustrated by Nanami Narumi. The series originally launched as a YouTube manga on the Manga Angel Neko Oka channel in March 2020 before Media Factory's MF Bunko J imprint published it on December 25, 2020. As of August 2024, nine volumes have been released.

It also received a manga adaptation by Mosskonbu, which launched in 2021. As of September 2024, six tonkobon volumes have been published. The manga adaptation was licensed under the title I Got Married to the Girl I Hate Most in Class by Seven Seas Entertainment. Crunchyroll previously confirmed that it will stream I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class anime, and shared a description for it:

High school student Saito Hojo is set to inherit his grandfather’s major corporation. First, he must marry Akane Sakuramori, the girl he despises the most, and who hates him just as much. The two are determined to keep their unexpected marriage a secret from their classmates. But as they begin their newlywed life, the distance between them starts to close.
